On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Northwest Guilford High School standout Jackson Godfrey’s current college team, the Western Carolina Catamounts, won 10-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the USC Upstate Spartans.

The game took place at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

The Catamounts’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium against Maryland Terrapins.
