Town of Summerfield issued the following announcement on Jan. 5.
This year’s Urban Archery Season begins Saturday, January 14, 2023 and runs through Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Urban Archery Season only applies to land within our town limits.
Hunting isn’t allowed on any town-owned properties and the town doesn’t maintain a list of private properties where hunting can occur.
Hunters must have permission from private property owners to hunt on their properties during this season. All hunting regulations apply.
Hunters must follow regular deer-season regulations, such as licensing, tagging, reporting, permission from landowners, and all other safety regulations. See additional information posted below.
