Town of Summerfield issued the following announcement on March 20.

When you see an emergency vehicle approaching you on the roadway, safely pull to the right, stop, and wait for the emergency vehicle to pass you.

If you are at an intersection, wait for the emergency vehicle to pass you before proceeding.

Please don’t slam on the breaks or swerve when you see a vehicle running emergency traffic.

Our goal is to keep everyone safe when responding to an emergency.

If you are traveling and see emergency vehicles on the side of the road at an emergency scene, slow down and move over to give the responders room to work safely.
