Town of Summerfield issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
All of the fun begins at 5:30pm!
There will be carols, dancing, light food, drinks, S'mores by a cracklin' bonfire....AND SANTA!!
It will be a fun night with GPA Summerfield Campus singing Christmas carols and more.
After the tree is lit, stay around for some hot chocolate, coffee, S'mores, and light food. Bring your camera and get a picture with Santa!
Please join the Town and Summerfield Merchants Association in collecting food for the Backpack Buddy Program at Northern High School and the Northwest Guilford Area Backpack Ministry Program at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.
These programs work directly with local schools in helping families in need.
We will be collecting cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, peanut butter, jelly, soup and stew, individual mac-n-cheese, instant rice, canned meat/vegetables/fruit, fruit cups, snack crackers, Jell-O, and pudding.
