County of Guilford issued the following announcement on Oct. 17.
We are joining the Triad Out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday at Triad Park because suicide and thoughts of suicide happen among people of all ages, races, sexual identities, and every other demographic.
In Guilford County, there is someone to call, someone to respond, and some place to go.
- Call or Text 988 to talk to a trained counselor. It's confidential.
- Visit the Guilford County Behavioral Health Center at 931 Third Street in Greensboro.
We're open 24/7/365 to serve people ages 4 and older with mental and behavioral health needs.
