County of Guilford issued the following announcement on Aug. 22.
Join us this Saturday at Southwest Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guilford County Animal Services will have free dog food and cat food, free microchip vouchers, and pet supplies while supplies last.
They'll be offering free rabies vaccines -- for dogs only -- during the entire event, too. If you are in urgent need of pet food, please come early. We look forward to seeing you Saturday at Southwest Park!
