CITY OF HIGH POINT PUBLIC LIBRARY: PoP Club A Farmers Market Incentive Program

City of High Point Public Library issued the following announcement on July 30.

The PoP Club is a farmers market incentive program for children ages 4 to 12.

Each week, children participating in the program will receive educational materials and crafts focused on growing healthy foods, the nutritional benefits of cooking and eating healthy foods, financial literacy and physical literacy.

Children will also receive three $1 tokens they can choose to spend on their own selection of fresh, locally grown produce or save their tokens for a future market.

Farmers markets across the nation have implemented the program and documented the program’s positive impact on the fruit and vegetable consumption of children!

Come see us at the High Point Farmer's Market on Saturdays starting at 9:00am.
