CITY OF GREENSBORO: Alamance Church Road and Murrow Boulevard Closures Begin June 27

City of Greensboro issued the following announcement on June 24.

Beginning at 7 am Monday, June 27, Alamance Church Road will be closed between Bristol and Acorn roads due to installation of a waterline. The job will run from 7 am to 5:30 pm weekdays for about two months. Access to businesses along this part of Alamance Church will remain open.

Also, beginning at 9 am Monday, June 27, Murrow Boulevard will be closed between E. Lindsay and Elm streets due to bridge repairs on Murrow over the Norfolk Southern Railroad. This work will take place from 9 am to 4 pm weekdays until mid-July. 

Detour signs will be in place for both jobs. Work schedules are dependent on weather conditions and material/equipment availability.
