Town of Oak Ridge issued the following announcement on June 23.
NCDOT will be repaving and widening parts of HWY 150/Oak Ridge Road beginning on Monday, June 27, 2022. The work will begin right before the intersection of Linville Road/HWY 150, going west, ending at the Guilford/Forsyth County line. Road work can be performed Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. until dusk. Pay attention to the highway flaggers as traffic will be reduced to one lane during this time. The project is estimated to take one month to complete.
Please plan your commutes accordingly.

NOTE-Road work will not take place from Friday, July 1 - Monday, July 4 due to the holiday weekend.
