Town of Summerfield issued the following announcement on Feb. 22.
Please join the town for fun and celebration during our Founders' Day event!
The annual festival will run from 6pm until 10pm on Friday, May 13 and from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, May 14 at 7300-7400 Summerfield Road, next to Summerfield Fire Station #9.
Friday, May 13 entertainment includes:
• music from Northern High School band, orchestra, and vocal ensembles
• carnival rides
• variety of inflatables and rock wall
• video game trailer
• food trucks
• and more
Saturday, May 14 entertainment includes:
• 10am parade along Summerfield Road
• music from Northwest High School and other local bands
• carnival rides
• variety of inflatables and rock wall
• forty local craft and business vendors
• Historical Committee Tent with displays and interactives
• Trails and Open Space Committee Tent with displays and interactives
• lawn games
• face painting and balloon twisting
• caricaturist
• video game trailer
• food trucks
• and more to come!
Saturday shuttle service will be provided on a continuous loop from 8:30am until 4:30pm.
