City of Burlington issued the following announcement on Jan. 25.
Roadway Conditions are still hazardous on many of the secondary roadways. However, the snow on the main roads such as Mebane St, NC-62, NC-49, NC-87 and US-70 has reduced due to crews treating and scraping. NCDOT and City of Burlington crews are still addressing the roadway conditions by scraping and salt application.
