Town of Gibsonville issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.
Halloween is nearing and there have been questions regarding trick-or-treating.
1. Beth Schmidt Park, the Town of Elon, and the Elon Police Department will hold their Trunks-of-Treats and Halloween movie at the park (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) on Friday October 29th from 5-8pm. The movie starts at 6:15pm.
2. Local Gibsonville churches will host Trunk-or-Treat on Joyner Street between First Baptist Church and Gibsonville United Methodist Church on Saturday, October 30th from 5-7pm.
3. The Town of Gibsonville will recognize Saturday, October 30th for trick-or-treating. Teachers have a hard enough job without trying to teach kids who have downed mass quantities of sugar the night before.
