County of Guilford issued the following announcement on Aug. 14.
Like many municipalities, Guilford County Parks is facing staffing challenges that are impacting current operations. Due to these challenges, the Aquatic Centers will need to adjust hours of operation for the remainder of the season.
Northeast Park and Bur-Mil Park Aquatic Centers will NOT be open Monday through Friday beginning Monday, Aug. 16. The pools will maintain normal operating hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
Hagan-Stone Park Aquatic Center will maintain normal operating hours Monday through Sunday.
The hours and capacity limits are contingent upon several factors and are subject to change if needed. We strongly encourage all visitors to call or check our website and Facebook before visiting.
The Aquatic Centers will officially close for the season after Monday, Sept. 6. All three pools will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 6.
