Pleasant Garden Fire Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 6.
Update on Floyd Cook he met with Dr. Bartle the surgeon today and got great news. He can pretty much do whatever now!! He can drive, sleep however he wants, mow the yard, bend over, lift his arms above his head, and all that good stuff. Dr. Bartle says he can’t start cardiac rehab till they take out the picc line which we should find out more about that on Friday when he meets with infectious disease doctor and then he says he should be good to go back to work in 3 months hopefully!!!! Thank you all so much for all of the prayers during all of this they have definitely been answered and we couldn’t be more thankful.
