County of Guilford issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.

With cold weather moving into the area, the cities of Greensboro and High Point are activating warming centers where people without shelter can escape the cold. 

In Greensboro, the Interactive Resource Center opens for 24/7 support tonight at 7pm through Monday, 12/26. 

The Safe Parking program is also open beginning 7pm on Friday, 12/23.

In High Point, West End Ministries, Inc. is open to support single women needing shelter, Open Door Ministries of High Point supports since men needing shelter, and the The Salvation Army USA supports families needing shelter.
