On Friday, March 22, former Northwest Guilford High School standout Cayla King’s current collegiate team the Virginia Tech Hokies won 92-49 against the Marshall Thundering Herd in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Blacksburg, Virginia, this was the first game against the Marshall Thundering Herd during the championship.
The Virginia Tech Hokies’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 24 at 8 p.m. in Blacksburg, Virginia against Baylor Lady Bears.
